Live Briefs
We have been given two live briefs to choose from
Brief one.
A young girl,no older than 13,stands atop a mass of bones
She must appear dishevelled,but her demeanour is proud-defiant
Her hair is brilliant,unnatural shade.
The air around her is full of smoke.the environment is battle worn.
Brief two
A corruption drone,featuring evidence of battle scarring/ burns.
The drone has a bright green laser at the centre of its face
must be tripod-have three sturdy legs.
Could be mounted on to a ship in space or exist in a battlefield.
I have chosen the second brief because it appears more open to 3D modelling and I can render it into a scene.
My initial thoughts are to create a drone that flies and to make it resemble a bug or bird.
I have reached a point where I am happy with my decision and have modelled my drone and done a few test renders.
These are my test renders,I have used mental ray brushes metal materials to texture my drone. I may decided to make my own textures depending on our timeframe.
Looking at this it doesn't look like a bird or a bug more like a spaceship but a lot smaller. I still think it looks great even though I wanted it more organic like a bird or bug.
